Black Men’s Health Clinic (BMHC), a nonprofit serving Black men in Central Texas, partnered with us to create a website that would support their growth and serve multiple audiences.
Initially, the site aimed to attract sponsors and grantors, with a homepage designed to encourage donations and partnership inquiries. As BMHC secured funding, the website’s focus shifted to serving clients and healthcare providers. We built a Care Network page featuring a filterable grid to showcase providers, helping men easily find healthcare services.
As BMHC expanded, they needed a solution for highlighting multiple programs without overwhelming users. One key addition was the HealthyCuts program, where clients could earn $25 toward barber services for attending healthcare appointments. We developed a platform for clients to submit appointments, track points, and redeem rewards. Barbers could also verify client points and request payouts.
The website has played a crucial role in their growth, fostering collaboration between providers and clients. While specific data can’t be shared due to HIPAA, the clinic has seen significant growth in attendance and provider participation over the past year.
This project won a Platinum Marketing Effectiveness Award from Summit International in 2023.
